If you're new to Xpansion and aren't sure where to start, you've come to the right place. This guide will provide you with a general overview of the app and offer some tips to help you get started on the right path.

Xpansion's Key Features

As a Shopify merchant, you've likely been using various apps over the years to support your business. If you're considering Xpansion as a All in One solution, it's important to know that the benefits go beyond cost savings. Here are a few key advantages to keep in mind:

  • Xpansion can improve your website's load time by up to 4x compared to using multiple individual apps.
    Using multiple apps can have a significant impact on your store's load time, which can negatively affect its overall speed and performance. This is because each app requires its own set of resources to function, which can lead to increased page load times and slower overall site speed.

  • All of Xpansion's features are fully integrated, eliminating the risk of conflicts or overlaps that can arise with separate apps.

  • With Xpansion, you'll no longer have to juggle multiple developers with long response times. Our dedicated support team is available 24/7 via email and chat, providing a single point of contact for all your needs.

Navigating through Xpansion's Dashboard

As with any new app, it might look overwhelming initially, but it’s pretty simple and user-friendly. We've used Polaris, the design system created by Shopify, to help you quickly navigate all the apps and features. The Xpansion app is also embedded inside the Shopify Admin, providing seamless transition and navigation without opening a new browser tab or window.

The menu contains the following options: Dashboard, Apps, Design settings, Support desk, Information and Translations.

  • Dashboard (as you can see in the above image) is the homepage of the Xpansion. It provides a quick overview of everything, notifications/updates/and a quick panel to adjust settings etc.

  • Next if you go to Xpansion apps, it display all available apps/solutions. Apps like Product upsell, Contact anywhere, Payment icons, Sticky ATC and Product Connector:

  • Design settings will open a Shopify like advanced customizer where you can set the colors for all elements to match your store branding:

  • Clicking Support tab inside the menu will open the support desk where you can find tutorials and documentations. Not only that you can also submit feature and report any bugs πŸ›.

  • Now for the infamous Information desk it gives you detailed information about the features recently added in Xpansion, not only that provides you an option to see the roadmap so you know what we're up to 😁.

    You can also find some cool tips & tricks and read some boring but important Legal information.

  • Translation library enables you to manage app translations within Xpansion. You can add translations to all apps by publishing it to your store.
