Start chatting with your personas
You can now chat with any or all of your personas. Click one of the Chat buttons on your Virtual Audiences project page, and then ‘Create a chat’ when you select your project name in the drop-down.
You can then start a conversation with all personas, or drill down into individual persona preferences. You can use the panel on the right-hand side to preview each persona, and then toggle between personas using the @ button at the bottom of your chat window. You can also type @ into the text chat window and select personas or images there. By default, your chat starts with ‘All personas’.
You can ask as many questions as you like, and can come back to this chat later, or start a new chat with your personas in future.
Vision for Virtual Audiences
With the latest enhancements to Virtual Audiences, you can now upload images, analyze key attributes, and get instant feedback from AI personas who think like your target audience.
Upload multiple images at once Now you can upload up to 10 images at a time, making it easy to test multiple creative concepts side-by-side. Whether you’re running A/B tests or exploring an entire campaign suite, this new flow saves time and scales effortlessly.
Broad format support We support JPEG, PNG, WebP, and more — so whatever design tool you use, you’re covered.
Detailed attribute extraction Our system extracts key attributes from your images — from colors, objects, and lighting to tone, mood, and visual style. These attributes help personas understand and respond to images in nuanced, human-like ways.
Efficient, secure processing All images are resized, cached, and processed for optimal speed and responsiveness — even when uploading multiple concepts. And, as always, your files are handled with enterprise-grade security.
Reference images directly in chat Select and reference an uploaded image with the @ symbol during your chat, and the persona will instantly know what you’re talking about. You can also remove the reference at any time.
Authentic insights Reactions are weighted by each persona’s beliefs, preferences, and demographics — providing richer, more actionable feedback aligned with your target market.
Qual + quant, together You’ll get qualitative opinions and, if you choose, quantitative ratings that reflect real consumer attitudes.
Compare and improve Want to know which concept performs best — or how to make it better? Ask your personas to compare images or suggest improvements based on their preferences.
Tips for persona chat
Yabble Personas are conversational AI agents designed to simulate real consumers — so you can explore motivations, behaviors, and beliefs like you're having a one-on-one chat with your target audience. To get the most out of a Persona Chat, structure your questions clearly and conversationally, and follow these tips for the best experience.
🔍 Getting Started: What's a Persona Chat?
Think of it as a live conversation with a persona who represents a specific segment of your audience. You ask questions, and they answer based on synthesized data, real-world patterns, and their predetermined behavioral and demographic traits.
✅ Best Practices for Prompting a Persona
1. Keep It Conversational
Use natural language, as if you were talking to a person in a real interview.
Instead of: "What is your consumption behavior by category?"
Try: "When do you usually drink energy drinks? What makes you choose one over another?"
2. Be Clear, but Open-Ended
Personas respond better to open-ended questions that invite storytelling.
"Tell me about a recent time you drank a coffee — what was going on?"
"How do you usually decide which drink to buy at the store?"
3. Ask One Thing at a Time
Avoid compound questions. Break them up to keep the flow natural.
✖️ "Why do you like coffee and what do you think of tea and where do you buy them?"
✅ "Why do you like coffee?" followed by "What do you think of tea?" then "Where do you usually buy drinks?"
4. Explore Their World
Dive into lifestyle, values, influences, and habits — not just category use.
"What does a typical weekend look like for you?"
"How does your personality show up in the drinks you choose?"
5. Play to Their Persona Traits
Each persona has its own worldview. Ask questions that resonate with their identity.
For Amira, Eco Warrior: "How important is sustainability when choosing drinks?"
For Liam, Digital Trendsetter: "Have you ever bought a drink just because you saw it on TikTok?"
6. Follow Up Like You Would in Real Life
Build on their responses with deeper prompts.
"That’s interesting — can you tell me more about that experience?"
"You mentioned stress — how do drinks help you cope with that?"
