Adding images to your survey

You can add images to a question or to individual answer options. Images should be JPG or PNG and no more than 2MB.

  • Add an image to a question.

    • Click “Add image/video,” and browse your computer for the relevant image.

  • Add images to answer options.

    • Click the + under the relevant answer option, and browse your computer for the image.

Images should be consistently sized when you’re uploading them alongside answer options. Try displaying answer options as a multi-column display by navigating to Toolbar > Advanced options > Column > Multi.

When to use it?

Images are a great way to display new ideas or concepts to respondents. You can also use images with answer options to provide a more engaging survey or to help with things like brand recall (by using logos).

Top tip: When adding images to your question, use multi-column display for the best view. Images should be consistently sized when you’re uploading them alongside answer options.

Why isn’t my image enlarging when I click image to enlarge? Your image is only as good as your uploaded quality. If the original image is small, it won’t enlarge.

Adding videos to questions

You can add a video to your question via YouTube or Vimeo link. Click on “Add image/video,” and paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL into the relevant box. Save, then preview your question to view.

Can I upload an MP4 or other video format? We only allow YouTube or Vimeo links at this stage. You can convert your video for free at https://vimeo.com/. Please note this is not a Yabble website.
