Kube comes with six preset roles, or user profiles, that limit the types of tasks and data that internal users have access to: Owner, Property Admin, Receptionist, Accountant, Sales, and IT. This article describes roles and their Kube accesses. For more information about assigning a role to an internal user, see Assigning a role to an internal user.
NOTE: The preset roles cannot be modified. If you need to add custom permissions, this is accomplished by adding a new role. For more information, Adding a role.
Role descriptions
Owners have complete access to all Kube functions and screens.
Property Admins can see, edit, add, and archive most data in Kube. They cannot edit some settings in the System Settings section or access Voyager.
Receptionists can see most data in Kube, excluding accounting reports, financial data, and System Settings configurations. They can make bookings, add companies and customers, add and amend contracts, add and edit Member Portal events and discussions, reply to support tickets, perform Wi-Fi maintenance tasks, and perform daily financial operations, such as taking a payment, adding a charge, and adding a company payment method.
Accountants can view and edit all accounting and financial data, reports, and accounting settings. They can also reply to support tickets, add and amend contracts, and add and edit companies.
Sales users can view high-level Kube information and can perform tasks related to sales. They can add and amend contracts, manage Activity Feeds, and add companies and contacts. They cannot view accounting and financial information, reports, or the System Settings section.
IT users can view and manage all Data and Wi-Fi related items in Kube. They have access to the Data and Wi-Fi menus at the property level as well as contract tasks required for activating Data and Wi-Fi.
