Assigning a role to an internal user

Updated over 5 months ago

Kube comes with six preset roles, or user profiles, that limit the types of tasks and data that internal users can access. The roles are Owner, Property Admin, Receptionist, Accountant, Sales, and IT. Depending on an internal user’s role, they may or may not see all Kube screens and have access to all Kube tasks.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To assign a role to an internal user

  1. Select your Personal Profile in the top menu and select System Settings from the drop-down menu. The Operator Details screen appears.

  2. Select the Security tab. The Internal Users menu appears.

  3. Locate the internal user in the grid and click their name.

TIP: If you have not added the internal user yet, see Adding an internal user.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. In the Roles field, select a role from the drop-down menu.

  6. Click Save.
