Reviewing and editing property information

After a property has been added, you can review and edit the property details as needed.

NOTES:

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • If you have subscribed to Yardi Internet List Services (ILS) and have not published your property, it does not show on Yardi ILS. For more information, see Syncing, publishing, and unpublishing a property to Yardi ILS.

To review and edit property information

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate the property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu. The Property Essentials screen appears.

  4. To edit property details, click the Edit button.

  5. Complete the fields you want to change. For field descriptions, see the Property Essentials Fields Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  6. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube property setup process is to upload the property master terms and conditions. For more information, see Uploading property master terms of service and Uploading property master privacy notice.

Property Essentials Fields Screen Reference

Property Name

Name of the property that customers and prospects see.

Property Code

Optional field used for internally identifying the property.

Street Address 1

Physical address of the property that shows on invoices, in emails, and online portals.

Phone Number

Contact phone number of the property that customers see.

Master Terms of Service

Upload your organization's custom master terms of service that members and prospects can view when creating accounts and making purchases in the prospect and member portals. Do not upload a file if you want to use Kube's default.

Show Area In

Select the units customers see when viewing the property's area on online portals.

Area

Size of the property that customers and prospects see.

Brand

Optional custom field that is used internally for reference purposes. This field does not appear if no custom field Brands have been added. For more information, see Property Custom Fields.

Market

Optional custom field that is used internally for reference purposes. This field does not appear if no custom field Markets have been added. For more information, see Property Custom Fields.

Web Address

URL that customers see to visit the property's main website.

Email Address

Contact email address that all emails to the property send to.

Legal Entity (International)

Select the legal entity that owns and manages the property. You must add legal entities in Yardi Voyager Accounting before Kube can populate them in the pick list menu. For more information, see "Adding a Legal Entity Record" in the Yardi Voyager International User's Guide.

Currency

Currency used at the property.

NOTE: The currency is selected in the System Settings section and cannot be changed once selected. In the case of multicurrency operators, this field dynamically updates to match the currency of the selected legal entity.

Time Zone

Time zone the property is located in.

CAUTION: This setting cannot be changed after saving.

Primary Contact

Name of the internal user who is the main contact for the property.

Master Privacy Notice

Upload your organization's custom privacy notice that members and prospects can view when creating accounts and making purchases in the prospect and member portals. Do not upload a file if you want to use Kube's default.

External Link Caption

The name of this field varies based on the label set in the System Settings. This field creates a clickable link for internal use using the URL provided. For more information about renaming this field, see Setting default property options.

Opening Date

Date the property first began operations.

Territory

Optional custom field that is used internally for reference purposes. This field does not appear if no custom field Territories have been added. For more information, see Property Custom Fields.

Region

Optional custom field that is used internally for reference purposes. This field does not appear if no custom field Regions have been added. For more information, see Property Custom Fields.

Short Description

Property description that customers see.

Description

Property description that customers see.

Wayfinding

Parking Instructions: Parking instructions for the property for internal reference.

Tour Instructions: Tour instructions for the property for internal reference.

Entrance Instructions: Instructions for accessing the property's entrance for internal reference.

Property Directions: Detailed directions to your property's location for internal reference. Icons and other HTML elements can be added using the editor.
