Selecting who can book in the past

Updated over 3 months ago

Sometimes, members and prospects may try to create a booking for a time slot that has already begun. For example, they try to book a space for the whole day, ten minutes into the day. Normally, Kube does not allow bookings that begin in the past. However, for each of your properties, you can set whether members and prospects can book in the past on the day of a booking to allow them to complete such bookings.

This article is part of the Kube property setup flow. For more information, see Kube setup checklist.

NOTES:

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • Internal users can make past bookings on the day of the booking regardless of these settings.

To select who can book in the past

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate the property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu and select the Booking Options tab.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Make your selections for the Allow Members to Book in the Past on Day of Booking and Allow Prospects to Book in the Past on Day of Booking fields.

  6. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube property setup process is to set who can inquire about spaces after hours. For more information, see Selecting who can inquire after hours.
