Configuring property call processing

You can configure how Kube processes outgoing calls for all of your properties (system) and for individual properties. When you configure system settings, all properties inherit the system setting unless you made changes to the property's settings. For more information about configuring system call processing, see Configuring system call processing.

Because your organization uses one voice enterprise system for all of your properties, your properties share a pool of available extensions. However, each property has its own bank of purchased phone numbers specific to the property.

NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • After you make property call processing changes, the property no longer inherits system call processing configurations.

To configure property call processing

  1. Select Properties in the top menu.

  2. Locate your property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.

  3. Select Setup in the side menu and select the Voice tab.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Complete the General section. For field descriptions, see the General Section Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  6. Click Save.

General Section Screen Reference

Business Hours

What the voice business hours of the property are. This setting controls call routing during the specified business hours. You can select two options:

  • Business Hours: Property hours of operation set during the onboarding process.

  • Every Day All Day: Used when business hours are 24/7.

NOTE: If you need to change your voice business hours, contact Yardi technical support.

Emergency Telephone Number

Property telephone number registered with emergency services to properly route emergency responders to your property.

Voice PIN

Default voicemail PIN for phones at your property.
