Selecting whether a company's members use member or company booking units first

Company booking units are booking units that a company's members can use to make bookings. Unlike member booking units that are assigned to specific members, company booking units are shared among a company's members.

You can control whether a company's members use member or company booking units first when making bookings. By default, members do not use company booking units first. However, if members use company booking units first, they do not use member booking units until all available company booking units have been used. You can also control whether a company's members have access to company booking units. For more information, see Selecting whether a company's members have access to company booking units.

NOTES:

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

  • Updating the company booking unit usage order overrides all member selections to the company selection you make. You cannot undo this action after saving. To make this selection for a single member, see Selecting whether a member uses member or company booking units first.

  • You can choose whether Kube sets new companies to allow members to use company booking units first. For more information, see Setting default company group options.

  • Members use one-time booking units before recurring booking units. For example, if a member uses company booking units first, they use company one-time booking units until there are none left before using company recurring booking units. Once all company booking units are used, they use member one-time booking units before using member recurring booking units.

Selecting whether a company's members use member or company booking units first

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Companies from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the company in the grid and click the company's name. The Company Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Groups & Hours/Credits in the side menu.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Select a Use Company Units Before Member Units option.


    NOTE: If you select Yes, all company members use company booking units before they use their member booking units.


  6. Click Save. A confirmation request appears.

  7. Click OK.
