Adding a task to the Activity Feed

Updated over 4 months ago

A task is an action that an internal user must complete by a specified date. The Activity Feed is a customer relationship management tool that allows you to add notes, tasks, activity logs, files, tours, and events to different records in Kube.

Kube compiles Activity Feed events, tasks, and tours in the Activity Calendar and all Activity Feed items on the Activity Feed tab. For more information, see Activity Calendar screen overview and Activity Feed.

NOTE: Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To add a task to the Activity Feed

  1. Select either Customers > Members, Leads, or Contacts in the top menu.

  2. Locate the user's record in the grid and click the Add/View Activity button.

TIP: You can also access the Activity Feed from the Contacts menu when viewing a company record.

  3. Click the Tasks tab.

  4. Complete the fields. For field descriptions, see the New Task Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  5. Click Submit.
