Floor plans are the visual representation of the different floors of your properties. When you add an image of a floor, spaces are then mapped to that image. When the spaces are mapped, floor plan layers highlight the different statuses of those layers. This article describes how to use the floor plans to view a space's status.
NOTES:
If you have not already added a floor or an image to that floor, see Adding a floor and Adding a floor plan image.
Kube comes with default Floor Plan Layers called Occupancy and Space Availability. If you would like to track a custom status, this can be done by adding a custom floor plan layer. For information on enabling this layer, see Enabling the floor plan custom layer.
Viewing a space's status from a floor plan
Select Properties in the top menu.
Locate the property in the grid and click the property's name. The Property Spaces screen appears.
Select Floor Plans in the side menu. The Floor Plans screen appears.
Select a floor from the Floor Plan drop-down menu.
Hover over the highlighted areas to see information about the space.
TIP: From the Occupancy layer, click the space to open the slide-out menu. The slide-out menu displays additional information about the space, or you can click Book Now to make a booking or Create Contract to start a contract for the space.
If your organization has created additional layers, to switch, select a layer from the Layer drop-down menu.
NOTE: An additional layer can be added to track different space information or statuses. For more information on adding a custom layer, see Enabling the floor plan custom layer.
