1️⃣ Onboarding
Once you purchase your Design Package for your space, you will begin your onboarding process by uploading photos and videos of your yard, taking style quizzes, sending inspiration pictures, telling us about your priorities, personal project budget, and much more.
We tailor these designs for you and your home, so tell us everything! We're just as excited as you are.
2️⃣ House Model Review
Once you have uploaded everything into Your Profile, if your package includes 3D renders, your team will immediately get to work behind the scenes on creating your House Model— which is a fancy term for your first project deliverable.
This will be a very basic outline sketch of your home to confirm where we'll be working, a chance for a budget discussion should any questions or suggestions come up, and for you to provide us with feedback before we begin on your designs.
3️⃣ Initial Design
After you've confirmed your Project Launch Package, your project goes to our talented team of designers. We take the curation further and aim to match your project with a designer who has experience in the desired aesthetic and elements you're looking for, as well as someone who knows your unique location.
Our team is also equipped with horticulturalists, landscape designers, and architects so that we can have a deeper understanding of your property, and also know what plants and landscaping fit your style, maintenance ideas, and lifestyle overall.
Within about 3 weeks after submitting your House Model (often sooner), you will receive your first conceptual renderings, which are photorealistic 3D images or illustrative 2D images of your design from different angles to get an idea of the entire layout.
It's time to collaborate! We'll ask you to leave extensive feedback on each area of your designs to tell us what you love, want to remove, or have questions on, all to incorporate into a free revision for you, included in your package. All of your notes and feedback will go directly back to the designer, where they'll make the necessary changes for you to present a finalized version. This typically takes no longer than 2 weeks.
4️⃣ Final Design
After your designs are completed, you'll have your final deliverables including revised renderings, plant and materials (and furniture, if applicable) lists, and more.
If after you receive your revised design you are still interested in making changes, adding new elements, or seeing what different layouts look like, you can purchase an Additional Revision at any time in the process for $295.
5️⃣ Contractor Matching
We'll connect you with our Build Team to discuss your designs and begin contractor-matching for you in your area and discuss your budget further. There is no obligation to build with someone in our network if you have a contractor in mind already; you can provide your Yardzen designs and materials and they can install for you, no problem. Note that contractor matching is limited to AZ, CA, CO, OR, TX, & WA.
