Redlining is making revisions to your existing plans.

"Red-lining” designs is a process when you, a contractor, or a designer make editorial notes on a set of CAD drawings (typically in red ink, though you can use any color!)


1️⃣ It is common for many detailed decisions to be solidified in the field.

2️⃣ Often contractors and clients collaborate on final tweaks to plans, referred to as "red lines"
