If shopify is your Master stock, at the time of refund retailers can restock the product via yayloh. However, it's important to note that this feature is exclusive at the time of refunds or store-credits only. In the case of exchanges, manual restocking is required once the original product is received.
Note: When utilizing yayloh for refunds and restocking, it's imperative that Shopify remains the master of stock. if another entity, such as a logistics company or warehouse management system, manages the master of stock for you, restocking via yayloh is not recommended.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to handle refunds and restocking:
When processing a refund or issuing a store credit, simply select the checkbox labeled 'restock'.
To restock a product at one of your stores, choose the appropriate store during the return process.
Select the correct location from the dropdown menu where the product needs to be restocked. The location will be sourced from the locations in your Shopify admin.
Click 'Apply' to finalize the restocking process.
Your product will be promptly updated in your Shopify back office.
On the order ID in Shopify, you'll find a detailed timeline and restock location for your product.
