The Yonda Portal helps you match a filing to an expected payment, but it does not by itself prove that a debit cleared or that the authority allocated it to the intended period.
Different records confirm different stages:
The Yonda filing record shows the return, filing status and associated amounts.
Your bank shows whether a debit is pending, posted, reversed or returned.
The authority’s ledger or direct confirmation, where available, shows whether a payment was received and how it was allocated.
Use all relevant sources before treating a payment as complete.
Start in Filings
Sign in to the Yonda Portal.
If you have multiple entities in your account, select the appropriate entity.
Select Filings from the left-hand navigation.
Filter by jurisdiction, period end date and Filed status.
Use Columns to show the fields you need, such as Status, Tax Collected and Payment Outcome.
Select View on the relevant filing.
Download the submitted filing and transaction details available in the Yonda Portal.
Export the filtered filings list if you need a CSV for reconciliation.
For more navigation and export help, see How to Use the Filings Page in the Yonda Portal.
What Filed means for payment
For a US filing, Filed confirms that the return was submitted. It does not tell you whether Yonda arranged the payment or sent instructions for you to pay, and it does not prove that a debit cleared or that the authority allocated it correctly.
Check any payment-instruction email and your bank record. If you are unsure which payment route applies to the filing, contact Support at support@yondatax.com.
This article covers US sales-tax payments. Follow the filing-specific instructions for non-US jurisdictions.
Understand Payment Outcome
Payment Outcome describes the tax position of the return. It is not a payment-status field.
Tax Payable: the return resulted in an amount payable to the authority.
Nil Return: no transactions were reported on the return.
Tax Receivable: the return resulted in tax refundable to you.
No Payment: the return did not result in a payment to or refund from the authority.
Seeing Tax Payable does not prove that the tax was paid.
Understand filing payment amounts
The filing record uses these terms:
Tax Collected: tax charged by you.
Payment Amount: tax paid by, or refunded to, you.
Output Tax: the overall tax calculated for payment to the authority.
Input Tax: the overall tax claimed from the authority.
Net: output tax minus input tax.
These amounts describe the return and its calculation. They do not show the account’s current balance after later payments, credits, penalties, interest or allocations.
If Yonda arranged the payment
If Yonda has confirmed that it arranged the payment:
Find the filed return in the Yonda Portal.
Match the legal entity, jurisdiction, tax type, filing period and expected amount.
Check your bank to see whether the debit is pending, posted, reversed or absent.
Review the submitted filing and transaction details available in the Yonda Portal.
Where the authority exposes a payment ledger, check the correct account and period.
Keep the supporting evidence together.
Wait until after the payment deadline before escalating a missing debit, unless you have already received a bank rejection or an authority notice.
If you received instructions to make the payment
A Filed status does not show that you completed the payment.
Find the relevant filing and instruction email.
Match the legal entity, jurisdiction, tax type, period, amount and payment reference.
Check your bank record.
Where available, check the authority ledger for receipt and allocation.
Keep the bank confirmation and authority receipt with the filing record.
Check prepayments
A scheduled prepayment may not have a dedicated filing row.
If you are reconciling a prepayment:
Use the applicable jurisdiction schedule and payment instructions.
Check your bank for the expected debit.
Match the legal entity, tax type, period, amount and reference.
Contact Support at support@yondatax.com to investigate if the bank and filing records do not reconcile.
Do not assume that the absence of a separate filing row means that a prepayment was missed.
What each source can prove
Yonda filing record: supports the return, filing status and associated amount; it does not prove payment clearance.
Submitted filing: supports what was filed; it does not prove that the payment cleared.
Transaction details: support the figures behind the return; they do not prove a bank or authority result.
Bank record: shows whether a debit posted, reversed or was returned; it does not prove which authority period received it.
Authority ledger: where available, shows balances, credits or allocations; not every authority exposes a complete ledger.
Direct authority confirmation: may be required when the ledger is missing, delayed or contradicts the bank or Yonda record.
A screenshot showing a payment is not enough to prove that the payment was applied to the intended period.
Match a bank debit carefully
The bank debit date may differ from the filing date. A bank descriptor may also cover more than one tax type.
Do not assign a debit to a filing based only on a matching amount or descriptor. Match:
Legal entity
Jurisdiction and tax type
Filing period
Amount
Debit date and reference
You are responsible for checking the bank result. If the records do not reconcile, send the evidence to Support at support@yondatax.com rather than assigning the payment yourself.
If the records disagree
Send the following to Support at support@yondatax.com:
Legal entity
Jurisdiction, tax type and filing period
Amount
Payment or debit date
Bank evidence
Submitted filing and transaction details available in the Yonda Portal
Authority ledger screenshot or receipt, if available
Complete authority notice, if one was issued
A short explanation of which records disagree
Common cases
The filing is Filed but no bank debit appears
Check whether you received payment instructions. If you did, confirm that you followed them. If you did not, contact Support at support@yondatax.com to confirm the expected payment route.
If the debit is absent after the deadline, or a notice or rejection arrives, send the evidence above to Support at support@yondatax.com.
A bank debit exists but no filing appears
Filter Filings by legal entity, jurisdiction, period, status and amount. Check whether the debit may be a prepayment without a dedicated filing row. If no supported match appears, contact Support at support@yondatax.com.
A payment appears but the authority shows a balance
The authority record may be delayed, or the payment may have been reversed, returned or allocated to another period or account. Send the bank evidence, authority ledger and notice to Support at support@yondatax.com for reconciliation.
The authority portal has no useful ledger
Not every authority provides payment history, balance, credit allocation or secondary access. Use your bank record and the Yonda filing evidence, then contact Support at support@yondatax.com to investigate or contact the authority where necessary.
A balance-due notice arrives after filing
Do not assume either the notice or the portal is wrong. Send every page of the notice to Support at support@yondatax.com so the filing, payment and authority account can be reconciled.
Scope
This article covers US sales-tax registrations, returns and payment activity managed by Yonda.
It does not cover income tax, franchise tax, work completed by another provider, non-US payment processes or authority accounts outside Yonda’s service.
What this article cannot confirm
This article cannot confirm:
Whether a particular payment cleared or failed
The current outstanding balance or available credit
How an authority allocated a payment
Why a payment was moved to another period or account
Whether every state account is current
A universal payment-clearance or authority-response timeframe
Those conclusions require bank and authority evidence for the account.
