Yoom Knowledge allows you to search for knowledge directly from Teams.
This article will show you how to set it up.
1. An administrator installs the Yoom Knowledge app on Teams
First, the Teams administrator needs to install the Yoom Knowledge app on Teams.
If you are an administrator, log in to Yoom Knowledge and click "Service integration" in the side menu.
Click the "Link" button for Teams in the "Chat Tool Link" section to link Teams and Yoom Knowledge.
This linkage should be performed by someone with Teams administrator privileges.
Please confirm that Teams is now displayed as "Linked".
Then install the Yoom Knowledge app on Teams.
Please download the file "Yoom Knowledge_Teams app.zip" from here .
Once the download is complete, open Teams and go to Apps > Manage apps > Upload apps in the sidebar.
Select "Upload an app to your organization's app catalog" and upload the file you downloaded earlier called "Yoom Knowledge_Teams app.zip."
Click ``Develop for your organization'' in the side menu and click the ``Add'' button for the Yoom knowledge you uploaded.
The Yoom Knowledge app will now be installed on Teams.
2. Employee registers Teams member ID in Yoom Knowledge
*This task must be performed by each user conducting the search from Teams.
If an administrator installs the Yoom Knowledge app on Teams as described above, other members will be able to link their Yoom Knowledge ID and Teams ID.
Click the "Link" button from Teams in the "Chat" section of "My Apps" on the settings page.
💡Before the administrator installs the Yoom Knowledge app, the link button above will not be displayed and the message "Chat link is not allowed." will be displayed.
