📝 Overview

With Yoom’s AI worker feature, you can create your own “digital colleague”.

By setting it up right, you can significantly boost their capabilities. Follow this guide to learn how to customize your AI worker’s skills.

🛠️ Setup Guide

Icon

Choose any icon you like that fits your AI worker’s personality.

Name

Give your AI Worker any name you like. The AI Worker will recognize this name and even use it to introduce itself when sending emails.

Role

Define who they are. AI workers will recognize their role and fulfill it when executing tasks.

📍 Example: “You are a Customer Success Lead at Yoom”.

Guide

This is the most important part. Think of a guide as a training material for a new colleague. By providing clear, detailed steps to your AI workers, you can ensure they understand exactly how you want tasks completed.

Tools

AI workers can use the apps you connect here. You can specify what actions (e.g., create a record) are allowed. This prevents the AI worker from taking unexpected actions.

⚠️ Note: AI workers can make mistakes. Please be careful with the actions you specify, such as “Delete”.

For each tool, you can decide if the field should be filled by your AI worker or pre-filled by a person. This allows you to set specific data yourself while letting the AI worker handle the rest.

✨ Using your AI Worker

Once created, you can define how the AI worker should perform during task executions.

AI model

You can choose which AI model you want to use. Different models have different strengths, so select the best model for the task.

Instructions (Prompts)

Send specific instructions (prompts) to the AI worker. If you use an AI worker within a Flowbot, you can use “retrieved values” obtained from previous steps in these instructions.

👉 Learn more: About Retrieved Values

Values to Retrieve

This applies only when the AI worker is used within a Flowbot. Specify which items the AI worker should retrieve to use in the next steps of your workflow.

Assigned Project

This determines who can see or edit your AI worker.

  • My Project: Only the creator can view/edit.

  • Shared Projects: Access is based on the project’s specific permissions.

☝️ Note: AI workers created within a Flowbot are automatically linked to that Flowbot’s project.
