📝 Overview
“Guides” are a very important configuration item for ensuring that AI Workers perform the intended processing.
Think of a guide as a training material for a new colleague. By providing clear, detailed steps to your AI workers, you can ensure they understand exactly how you want tasks completed.
✍️ Tips for Creating Guides
1. Be detailed
AI workers have wide knowledge, but they don’t know your specific business rules. So it’s important to share how work is done and what steps they need to take.
💡 Tip: Imagine you are teaching someone who has never done this job before.
2. Explain the steps
Describe the steps on how you want your AI worker to process. The more details you share with your AI workers, the more accurate they will be.
💡 Tip: Break down tasks into small steps and document them in the guide.
3. Be specific about IDs & locations
If your task involves using specific apps like Slack or Google Sheets, AI workers need to know where exactly to go.
📍 Example:
If a specific folder or channel is already linked in other steps of your Flowbot, tell your AI worker, “The destination is already set in the app settings, so please use that”.
If they need to find something, give it the exact name: “Find the tab named ‘February Result’ in the ‘2026’ sheet.
4. Specify the output format
Tell AI workers how you want the output. This saves you time and reduces the number of “tasks” used.
📍 Example:
“I want the final data in a table format. Please don’t include any introductory text.”
📄 Example Guide
Here is what a well-written guide looks like for a task that researches companies and saves the data into a Google Sheets.

- Determine if the company is a startup, SMB, or large enterprise.
- Label it as “large enterprise” if revenue is over 10 billion yen or if they are listed.
2. Update the “Tracking” Google Sheets file.
Find the company name in column A of the “Tracking” Google Sheets file, and fill in the missing details in the corresponding row.
# Notes
