📝 Overview
Yoom allows you to integrate with Microsoft Teams, triggering actions whenever a new post is made in a channel.
This guide explains how to automatically download a file if an attachment is included in a Microsoft Teams post.
🛠️ How to Set Up
1️⃣ Set Up the Microsoft Teams Trigger & Run a Test
Select Microsoft Teams from the app triggers menu.
Configure the following settings:
Action: When a message is sent to a channel
Trigger interval: Set any preferred interval
Team ID/Channel ID: Click and select the target team ID and channel ID from the suggestions.
Run a test to verify the trigger setup.
2️⃣ Retrieve & Verify File Information from the Test Results
If the test is successful, a response result will be displayed.
Scroll down and look for the "Retrieved value" section.
⬇️ The File ID will be automatically added.
3️⃣ Set up File Download Action in SharePoint
Select SharePoint action under the trigger.
Configure the following settings:
Action: Download File
Site ID: Select the correct site ID (see Setting A)
Drive ID: Select the correct drive ID (see Setting B)
Item ID: Select the file ID obtained from Step 2 (see Setting C)
Run a test and check if the file downloads successfully.
📍 Setting A: Site ID
Click the Site ID field and select the site id.
If the Site ID does not appear, check the "Drive ID or Site ID" troubleshooting section here.
📍 Setting B: Drive ID
Select the correct Drive ID from the displayed suggestions.
📍 Setting C: Item ID
Click the Item ID field.
From Step 2, select the ID output obtained from the trigger and embed it.
