Within YourDriverApp, you have several options to assign a job to a driver. In this article, we will dive deeper into the option to assign a job to a driver that is not yet using YourDriverApp.

With this feature you can assign a job to any contact in your phone contact list, even if they are not yet using YourDriverApp.

You will find this option in the "Assign to driver" screen. This option can be found in any of the following ways:

After selecting "Assign to driver", change the selection from "My drivers" to "My phone contacts".

You can do this by tapping the "Change" button next to "My drivers" and choose "My phone contacts''.

You can now select any phone contact to assign the job to.

After choosing "Dispatch now" you will be prompted to notify the contact via a message with a unique pre-generated link. You can send out this pre-generated message via any channel you wish, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, email or any other.

The contact can now use this link to download and install the free YourDriverApp. After installation, all details of the job can be found in the app. If the contact you send the job to is already using YourDriverApp, they can accept the job offer by clicking the unique link within the message.

Once the job offer is accepted, the assigned job process starts. All information about the job can be found within the app under job details and within the Portal.
