In this article we explain all about the YourDriverApp settings tab.
You can find the 'Settings' tab in the bottom right corner of the app. In the settings tab you can manage your driver and debtor profile(s), update your vehicle information, upgrade your membership, and if needed get help by accessing the YourDriverApp knowledge base or contact us directly for extra support questions!
Driver profile
You can change your name and/or profile picture at any time. This information is used to inform the customer of the driver who has been assigned to pick them up.
Vehicle
The vehicle that you drive and its specifications are pivotal to the smooth running of the system. When your fellow drivers know the people capacity, luggage capacity and type etc. of your vehicle, they can make sound dispatching decisions. The vehicle information is also shared with customers, which helps them identify it at the pickup location upon arrival. To update or add vehicles, you can move to the vehicles tab on the application. The current vehicle can only be set while starting a shift.
Debtors
For Fleet Solution users this feature will be available to create and manage customer accounts that can be used for job administration.
Default ownership
Here you can set the Default ownership that should be used when creating a new job from the Jobs tab. This can be set to either Private (you) or to one of the Business Groups you are assigned admin or operator rights. This feature requires an active Fleet Solutions License. Meter Tariff settings (Android Only)
In order to activate the YourDriverApp Taxi Meter please first navigate to the 'Settings' tab and choose 'Meter Tariffs'. In this menu you can create one or more tariff settings which you can activate on your job and street pickup calculation.
Let's first describe how to create a tariff, hit the '+' sign in the Tariffs menu and create your first tariff. First name and describe your Tariff.
Then you have the option to toggle on/off the following calculation options:
Initial charge: The start charge or your job. The currency is based on your phone language/country settings.
Distance charge: Based on your phone language/country settings you can set the distance charge per km or mile.
Time charge (per minute): Here you can add your time charge per minute.
Wait time charge (per minute): Here you can add your wait time charge per minute.
Minimum fare: The minimal amount of the job fare calculation.
Maximum fare: The maximum amount of the job fare calculation.
Tax percentage: Add here the added tax percentage for your job fare calculation.
Hit 'Save' to save your tariff. Note that when on of the options is toggled on, it is used in the price calculation so make sure you have only the desired options toggled on.

You can also make your Tariff your default setting by long pushing on on your desired Tariff name in the Tariff overview screen, this opens a popup where you can set your Tariff as default.
Driver input
The tariff 'Driver Input' is not really a tariff however it is the option you can choose if the fare is calculated outside the YourDriverApp, for example using an external taxi meter. When you click on the 'Driver input' tariff it is possible to add a default tax percentage that will be used for administration purposes and sending the digital receipt.

Debug Options
Within the Debug Options menu, you can see your activity in YourDriverApp, if needed you can delete all info.
Your current membership is shown under the subscription tab. This is also where you can upgrade to other memberships.
