In this article we explain how you can set up your automatic dispatch rules in combination with the taxiID software.
When using YourDriverApp in combination with the taxiID Online Trip Manager for dispatching you have 3 types op dispatch configurations:
YourDriverApp managed
Hybrid managed
taxiID managed
The dispatch configuration is called 'Dispatch lines' in taxiID. And for every ride type or origin of the booking you can set specific dispatch lines. Let's first explain the 3 types of dispatch configurations and after that how to enable them for your taxiID ride types.
You can set dispatch lines in the taxiID environment through the menu 'My products / Product settings --> Tab Online Tripmanager --> Dispatching lines.
1. YourDriverApp managed
This dispatch line is automatically generated in your taxiID profile once an integration with YourDriverApp is completed. The line is visible in the taxiID menu 'My products / Product settings --> Tab Online Tripmanager --> Dispatching lines' as YourDriverApp Automatic dispatch.
YourDriverApp managed means that every automatic dispatch you activate from the taxiId Online Trip Manager is fully handled by YourDriverApp dispatch settings. Although of course the complete dispatch is visible in the Online Trip manager, the YourDriverApp dispatch algorithm is in place.
2. Hybrid managed
This dispatch line means that you can set some configs in taxiID so that those are not activated in the YourDriverApp dispatch algorithm:
Maximum time that the total offer process can take (ASAP booking)
Select taxi's within this ETA to pickup (ASAP booking)
Maximum time that the total offer process can take (Pre booking)
3. taxiID Managed
This dispatch line means that you fully dispatch based on the taxiID dispatch algorithm, one by one.
This configs processes your automatic Dispatch one driver at the time. The driver closest by to pick-up location (like the crow flies) receives the first offer, after he declines or does not respond in time the next driver will receive an offer. And so on and so on:
Number of seconds in which the driver needs to respond
Automatic dispatching is applicable from within the following Maximum distance in km
Activating dispatching lines
Now you have created 1 or more dispatch lines you need to activate them per ride typ in order to start. You can activate them in the taxiID menu 'My products / Product settings --> Tab Online Tripmanager --> Tab Online tripmanagement --> Use automatic dispatching rules per ride type'.
