A: You cannot exclude first-degree contacts before starting a campaign. However, when you've started a campaign adapted for 2nd and 3rd-degree contacts, all 1st-degree will end up in finished almost right away with the reason "already connected". You can then choose to move these to another type of campaign if you want and use the template "3 LinkedIn Messages" as messages will only be sent to existing connections.
