Sometimes it can be desired to find contacts at specific companies, for example when looking for finding the right decision makers at larger accounts or using an account based outreach approach.
Uploading a List of Companies for Contact Search
When searching for contacts, you can save time by uploading a list of companies instead of manually entering them in your search filter. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Filter Search.
Click on the uploading icon in the Company filter.
You'll be prompted to upload a CSV or Excel file with company names or domains (e.g., Zaplify or Zaplify.com).
Matching Process
Zaplify will attempt a precise match with specific companies. If no exact match is found, it will perform a flexible search. Precise matches include cases like Zaplify matching with www.Zaplify.com. Flexible searches use keywords, such as "Company," for broader results. If multiple companies have names containing the keyword, they will all be displayed.
Preview and Submission
Before submitting, you can check if a precise match is found. A precise match shows both the company name and the domain, as it does for Zaplify in the example below. If no exact match is found, Zaplify will search for keywords. For instance, if searching for "Company", suggestions like "Company & Company" may appear.
This way, you can easily upload company lists, check matches, and refine your contact search for better results.
