ZayZoon operates in all U.S. geographies and across Canada. Because EWA rules vary by state, we tailor available payout options to ensure full compliance — without adding any extra work for employers.

limits on fees

restrictions on which payout methods can be used

To keep things simple, ZayZoon automatically applies the correct rules based on each employee’s location.
How will employees know which wallets are available to them?
ZayZoon will automatically adjust the wallets and fees for your employees in the app.
For this reason, your employees may see different payout options or fees than employees in other states.
However, all employees always have:
access to at least one fee-free payout method, and
a fully compliant experience for their state.

Which states have exceptions?
ZayZoon ensures employees always have a no-cost option and that ZayZoon complies with state regulations. Some state-level exceptions are:
Wisconsin
Employees are shown only $0 fee payout options to meet state requirements.
South Carolina
A free next-day payout option must be available. Instant options may carry a standard fee.
Connecticut
Depending on timing:
Employees may be limited to fee-free options, or
A first paid payout (up to $4) may be allowed each pay period, with only fee-free options available afterward.
