Zeeg provides SMS credits with every paid subscription to send automated notifications to your meeting participant. That includes appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-up messages.
All paid Zeeg plans (Professional, Business, Scale, and Enterprise) include 100 SMS credits per user per month. The free Starter plan does not include SMS credits, as the Workflows feature (which includes SMS functionality) is only available on paid plans.
For organizations with multiple users, SMS credits are pooled and shared among all users. For example, an organization with 6 users on the Business plan receives 600 total SMS credits per month (6 users × 100 credits). Credits expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle and do not roll over.
How to Check Your SMS Usage Information
To check your current SMS usage and available credits:
Navigate to Settings in your Zeeg dashboard
Select Subscription from the left sidebar and scroll down to the SMS Packages section
Only workspace owners and administrators can view payment and billing information, including SMS package details. Regular users or partners cannot access the subscription page or view SMS credit information.
How SMS Credits Are Consumed
Destination Country:
SMS credit consumption varies by destination country
International SMS may consume more credits than domestic messages
Credit consumption rates for specific countries can vary significantly; always verify the credit cost for your target destination to manage usage effectively.

Tips to optimize SMS credit usage
Keep Messages Concise: Aim to keep messages under 160 characters in GSM-7 encoding to avoid splitting into multiple segments.
Avoid Special Characters and Emojis: Refrain from using emojis or special characters to stay within GSM-7 encoding. Use an online SMS character/encoding checker to verify encoding.
Review Workflow Variables: Ensure dynamic variables in messages do not make them excessively long. Simplify variable content where possible.
Use an SMS Cost Calculator: Estimate the number of segments and credits required for messages based on length, encoding, and destination.
