What is classed as a cancellation?

Need to cancel a shift and not sure whether the cancellation policy will apply?

If you cancel within 14 days of the shift commencing without reasonable explanation (such as an emergency), this may be classed as a last minute/unjustifiable cancellation at the discretion of Zen Locum and you may receive a strike on your account.

During the month of December, we have extended this policy to within 28 days of your shift.

Same-day cancellations will result in an automatic strike on your account. If you have more than one last minute/unjustifiable cancellation this may lead to your removal from the Zen Locum platform.

Zen Locum also reserves the right to cancel a booking if the correct documentation to work has not been provided by the locum within 48 hours of the shift commencing. This would then be classed as a locum cancellation, therefore the same terms apply.
