You cannot cancel booked locums within 5 days of them working a shift, unless there is an exceptional reason. If you do cancel within 5 days without an exceptional reason then you will be charged the Zen Locum booking fee, at the discretion of Zen.

There is a grace period of 24hrs after a shift is booked, and if the shift is more than 5 days out then you won’t be liable. We understand that circumstances do change e.g., employees cancel holidays, but the closer it is to the shift, the harder it is for the locum to find replacement work. Please be aware that locums may pursue for loss of earnings for the short notice cancellation of shifts
