The Subcontractors tab is used to manage all external partners working on your projects, such as:
Trucking companies
Gas suppliers
Demolition crews
Specialized service providers
Subcontractors are managed separately from employees to:
Keep payroll records clean
Avoid mixing internal staff with external labor
Ensure accurate job costing and expense tracking

To Access, go to Team from the left menu and click on the Subcontractors tab
Subcontractors List View
This section displays all subcontractors linked to your system.
Subcontractor Name
Active / Inactive Toggle
Active: Available for:
Scheduling
Expense tracking
Job costing
Inactive
Hidden from selection
Useful for:
Seasonal vendors
Temporary partners
Color: Each subcontractor can be assigned colors for better visibility.
System Color: Used inside Zevbit for internal identification
Google Calendar Color: Used when schedules are synced with Google Calendar
Phone Number
Email
Actions (3-dot menu for edit)
Adding a New Subcontractor
Click Add Subcontractor
Enter the required details:
Subcontractor Name
Email
Phone Number
Color for the system
Google Calendar Color
Click Add Subcontractor to save
Editing a Subcontractor
Click the three dots (β―) next to the subcontractor
Select Edit
Update details as needed
