How to Select or Create a Client

Explains how to connect the estimate to the correct client record.

Every estimate must be connected to a client. When you click Create New Estimate, a client selection panel opens automatically where you can find an existing client or add a new one on the spot.


Select or Create Client Panel

If the client already exists

  1. Type the client's name in the search field

  2. Select the correct client from the list

If the client does not exist yet

  1. Click Create New Client

  2. Fill out the required client information

  3. Save the client to continue

Once the client is selected or created, the estimate is linked and ready for you to start adding line items.
