Service VAT refers to the mandatory 5% charge added to Ziina's fees that goes to the government, while Customer VAT is an optional 5% charge that businesses can collect from customers through payment links, which they can then use to fulfill their tax obligations.

  • Service VAT: This is a 5% VAT charged on top of Ziina's fees that Ziina pays to the government.

  • Customer VAT: This is an optional 5% VAT that you as business can choose to collect from your customers on payment links. The collected VAT goes to your business, which you can then use it to pay your tax obligations.
