Why did I receive less AED than expected from my foreign currency payment request?

When you create a payment request in a foreign currency (not AED), your customer pays the exact amount requested in that currency. However, converting to AED includes an exchange rate markup of 1.2% below the market rate, which may cause you to receive slightly less in AED than expected.
