Understanding Your Card Limits
Ziina has two different card-related limits that serve distinct purposes. This article explains what each one applies to so you can avoid confusion when a payment fails or a transaction is declined.
Weekly Card Payment Receiving Limit (1,500 AED)
This limit applies to all personal Ziina accounts and controls how much you can receive via card payments (debit or credit) within a rolling 7-day period.
The maximum you can receive via card payment is 1,500 AED per week
Once reached, additional card payments will fail until the limit resets
The limit resets automatically every week
It only applies to card payments received — not to other incoming methods
You can still receive money via in-app transfers or Ziina balance transfers without restriction
Some accounts may have a higher weekly limit, but personal accounts are capped
Want a higher limit? Upgrading to a Professional or Verified Business account gives you access to higher receiving limits.
Violet Plan Abroad Spending Limit (20,000 AED)
This limit applies exclusively to users subscribed to the Violet Plan and controls how much you can spend internationally using your Ziina card.
The maximum you can spend abroad is 20,000 AED under this benefit
This is an outgoing spending limit, not a receiving limit
It applies specifically to international transactions made with your Ziina card
This limit is part of the benefits package included in the Violet Plan
