This article describes the three stages through which you can launch and connect a Lead Form Ad within ZipLeads.
Stage one - Launch a Lead Form Ad
Select Ads Launcher from the left hand menu
Select ‘Launch New Campaign’
Select 'Facebook & Instagram' as your platform
Step 2 - Select an Ad Template by selecting the image or the blue select button
The template library is designed around effective offers and text variants
Click 'see more' within your template options to view the whole template
Step 3a - Customise Campaign Details
Keep 'Campaign Type' as Lead Form
Add in a Daily Budget - we recommend $30 - $40 based on your audience size
Update the Website link to the URL of your Funnel 'Book A Call' Page
Note: To access this link right click into Sites from your main left hand menu > select open in new tab > Select your funnel > copy the URL for the 'Book a Call' page (keep this tab open for another link you will need in later steps)
Step 3b - Customise Location Settings
Select Address and type out your address within the search box to add a base target for your location
The location radius will default to +4mi (4 miles) - it is recommended that this distance is not updated as the audience size will be further customised within Facebook Ads Manager
Step 3c - Customise Ad Preview
Select the pencil icon next to the Ad Text to view and customise full Ad Text
Click 'Ok' on the pop-up Ad Text composer to save any changes made
To add in Ad Media click the pencil icon next to the image
This will open your Ads Launcher Media Library as a pop-up window
Within the Media Library pop up you can browse images what have already been uploaded within the 'Client Library' tab or upload new images/videos from your computer directly within the 'Upload Media' tab
Select 4-5 images by clicking on your chosen images and click apply
The number of images selected correlates with the number of Ads that will be created within your campaign (e.g., Selecting four images will create four different Ads within your Ad Set for a campaign)
Use the arrow icons in the Ad Preview section to see what your images will look like on your Ad
Step 3d - Customise Advanced Settings by clicking the drop down menu
Update your campaign name based on your offer (Only you can see your campaign name)
Update your lead form - you can choose type 'Edit Lead Form Name' (to edit the name of the lead form selected) or 'Select Lead Form' if you already have a lead form connected to the platform
The custom audience settings can be edited within Facebook Ads Manager - If you have previously set up a Custom Audience setting within Facebook Ads Manager, you can select this from the dropdown menu.
Update the Privacy Policy to the URL of your Funnel 'Privacy' Page
Note: To access this link right click into Sites from your main left hand menu > select open in new tab > Select your funnel > copy the URL for the 'Privacy' page
A Pixel is not needed for a Lead Form Ad
Once these settings have been updated, scroll up and click the blue 'Launch Campaign' button
Once your campaign has finished launching, you will see it within your Ads Launcher Dashboard where you have the option to toggle it on and off
Recommended Step - Customising Ads in Facebook Ads Launcher
Stage two - Connecting a Facebook Lead from with ZipLeads
Go to Settings > Integrations > Facebook Forms Fields Mapping
Find your Facebook Lead Form and select the green 'Map Fields' button on the right
Within the pop-up, ensure that the fields are matching correctly (e.g., Full name in both Form Fields and CRM Fields)
Stage three - Setting up automation for when Leads Opt-in
Click the 'Go Back' button on the top of the left hand side menu to exit the Settings menu
Click into Automation and search for the 'Funnel Opt-in Form - Completed'
Note: The name of your Opt-In form workflow may vary slightly based on account customisations, however you will need to select the Opt-in form completed workflow
Click into the title of the 'Funnel Opt-in Form - Completed' workflow to open it
Click the blue 'Add New Trigger' button at the top of the workflow
In the pop-up on the right hand side of the screen search for the word 'Facebook' in the search bar and select the event 'Facebook Lead Form Submitted'
Update the filters - Select the dropdown to the right of the filter 'Page is' and select your Facebook Page
You can keep the 'Form is' filter set as 'any' unless you have multiple Ads Campaigns running simultaneously. If so, select the specific lead form linked to the campaign you are launching
Click the blue 'Save Trigger' button on the action and the blue 'Save' button on the entire workflow
