Testing your lead connection from Facebook to ZipLeads

This article covers how to test your lead connection using the Lead Ads Testing tool.

To test your lead connection between Facebook and ZipLeads:

  1. Open the Testing tool linked above

  2. Select your Facebook page and Lead form using the drop down menus

  3. Select the blue 'Create lead' button

  4. This will now send a test lead to our ZipLeads account


    ​Note: If you receive an error stating the lead has already been created, you will need to select the grey 'Delete Lead' button and click 'Create Lead' again.

  5. Once the test lead has been created within your ZipLeads account, select the blue 'Track Status' button

  6. Check the status of you test lead

  7. Back in ZipLeads, check the test lead via the 'Contacts' menu item

    Note: The test lead may be the first contact in your list. However if you have used the Lead Ads Testing tool, you may need to search for the test lead using the search tool at the top right of your contact list

  8. Click into the test leads name to open up the Contact Card

  9. In the Contact Card, review the activity tab on the right hand side of screen to see when this lead was created
