Why are you asking me to do this?

We may you to verify your identity if any of the following events occur:

  • Any level of verification failure

  • Submit a loan request or loan repayment of $1000.00 or more.

  • The ID that is provided does not match the first and last name used during registration

What kinds of identity documents does Zirtue accept?

  2. U.S. passport

  3. U.S. State-issued ID*

  4. Residency Permit Card (Green Card)

*These include Military ID cards, Tribal ID cards, DHS cards, and other government employee IDs.

How long will this process take?

Typically, the identity verification process is pretty quick. This can be 30 seconds to a minute. It may take longer in some instances if the system has an issue with verifying the document.

The app won't accept my ID or my ID has failed.

Please make sure your picture of the document is clear, legible, and over a solid background. If the ID fails verification three times, the account will be suspended for further review.
