Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure designed to protect your ZoneBit account from unauthorized or illegal access. While traditionally, you can log in using just a username and password, this extra layer of protection requires an additional step by requesting a randomized code from a linked mobile device you own.
Once you’ve enabled 2FA on your account, this added security extends to withdrawals, and any actions involving the transfer of funds.
To begin, you’ll need to install either Authy (recommended) or Google Authenticator on your chosen device. Then, navigate to the Settings section on your ZoneBit account to link your device by either entering the provided code into the 2FA app or scanning the displayed QR code.
After doing so, enter the code generated by the app into the form on your security settings page.
Once this is completed, you will receive an email with a link that will finalize the activation of 2FA on your account. This final step is a crucial security precaution to ensure your account remains secure.
It is extremely important that you DO NOT share your QR code or the provided string with anyone else, as this could allow them unauthorized access to your account.
