How to get $USD onto PulseChain using any bank account in the USA.

Updated over 2 months ago

Want to use your existing bank account to get $$$ onto PulseChain? You're in the right place!

Coast has recently on-boarded a new banking partner called HiFi. Their integration with Lead.bank allows us to perform remote account opening. Complete a simple KYC form on the deposit page and you will receive new deposit details with Lead.bank. You can make a deposit to that account from any bank is the USA.

Answers to common Questions

Q1 - Why do I need to do more KYC?

A1 - For security reasons, we don't store any more KYC information than is absolutely necessary. Therefore, we don't hold enough of your data to be able to open these accounts without your express permission. As with anything in the Coast platform, you are in control, of your coins, of your security and of your data. If you want to use your existing bank like Chase, BoA or Wells Fargo, you'll need to complete additional KYC to get deposit details at Lead.bank (through HiFi).

Q2 - Why isn't my State in the dropdown?

A2 - Due to the current regulatory environment, this deposit method is available to anyone in the USA that is NOT currently a resident of the following states:

Washington

Idaho

Kansas

Texas

Louisiana

Georgia

South Carolina

New York

Connecticut

Rhode Island

Florida

Alaska

EVERY USA BANK (Additional KYC Required)

To create deposit details, go to the Deposit page. If you are a resident of the United States (excluding the states listed above) and you DO NOT see the EVERY USA BANK there is most likely an error with your backend settings. Please email support@0xcoast.com and we will correct the issue. Assuming you can see the form below, continue with the following directions.

1. Create new Deposit details

If you have all the correct permissions, your screen should look like the screenshot shown below.

2. Personal Information

You may find that some of this data is auto-filled. But you will notice that this never includes your SSN. We do not store this data. So when you add it to this form, that information is passed directly to Lead.bank and HiFi, not held in our servers anywhere.

3. Choose Account Location

Add your physical address information. Our financial partners are trying to confirm that you are not physically located in a state where they cannot provide services. If you are experiencing issues with this item, please ensure that any VPN or Ad Blockers are switched off when completing the KYC form.

4. Upload ID

Upload a digital image of the front/back of your driver's license or other ID card. The most common issue we find with this step is that the file size is too large. HiFi tells us that it works with files under 5.5MB but some users have still reported issues at this file size. We recommend that you keep the files less than 1MB if at all possible. If you simply cannot progress past this step, please email support@0xcoast.com and we may be able to push it through on our end.

5. Proof of Address

Upload a proof of address document. Users report the fewest errors when using a cell phone bill or rental agreement. Again, try to keep the file size as small as possible. If the proof of address document is a multi-page PDF, try to delete any unnecessary pages.

6. Sign Agreement

Sign the HiFi Agreement. You should probably read it first, but you probably won't.
