Holding positions past 4:45 PM ET is not allowed, Monday through Friday. Any position still open at 4:45 PM ET is closed automatically, and fills may be poor.
Market Reopen Times
Trading resumes:
6:00 PM ET Sunday through Thursday
On market holidays with altered close times, positions must still be closed before the market closes.
Live Accounts
Live accounts allow:
Swing trading
Overnight positions (if margin requirements are met)
Auto-liquidation settings may be configured during live onboarding.
News Trading
News trading is allowed without restriction on ORIGIN, STATIC, DAILY EOD and INSTANT CORE accounts. On DAILY Intraday, news trading is allowed during the evaluation but not once funded. On INSTANT PRIME & 1-DAY PASS accounts, news trading is not permitted within 5 minutes before or after a flagged news event.
