Core Rules

Profit Target

Each payout requires a 5% profit target. Your first target is 5% of your starting balance. After each approved payout, the next target is 5% of your balance once that payout has been deducted. It is not based on the original account size, so the target moves with your balance.

Example: $100,000 account

See 10FOUR INSTANT CORE Payout Objectives for the full breakdown.

Consistency
No single trading day may represent more than 15% of your total profit. See 10FOUR INSTANT CORE Consistency Percentage.

Drawdown
End-of-day trailing, with a permanent lock once you clear your threshold. See 10FOUR INSTANT CORE Drawdown and Daily Loss Limit.

Minimum trading days
No fixed requirement.

Exceeding your contract limit
Trading above the contract limit for your account size is a violation and may trigger a risk review.

Trading Hours

INSTANT CORE follows standard 10FOUR trading hours.

  • All positions must be closed by 4:45 PM ET, Monday through Friday. Any position still open is closed automatically at that time.

  • Trading reopens at 6:00 PM ET, Sunday through Thursday.

  • On market holidays with an early close, positions must be closed before the market closes.

Overnight and swing positions are not available on simulated accounts. See Allowed Trading Times.

Microscalping

The standard 10FOUR rule applies: at least 50% of your trades must be held longer than 10 seconds, and at least 50% of your total profit must come from those trades.

See Prohibited: Microscalping for how this is detected and what happens if it's flagged.

News Trading

There are no news restrictions on INSTANT CORE accounts. All Tier 1 economic events may be traded, with no blackout window before or after a release.

Slippage and volatility around these events remain your risk to manage.

Path to Live

INSTANT CORE accounts count toward live eligibility. Payouts taken on an INSTANT CORE account are credited the same as payouts on any other funded plan.

All live transitions are at the discretion of the 10FOUR risk team. See Path to Live.

Automated Trading

The standard 10FOUR policy applies. Personally owned bots, EAs and VPS setups are permitted provided you are the sole owner of the strategy and you disclose it to 10FOUR before running it.

High-frequency trading and shared or commercially distributed strategies are never permitted. See Prohibited: Bots, EAs, Algorithmic Trading, VPS Use & HFT.

Account Limits

INSTANT CORE counts toward the standard 10FOUR limit: a maximum of 3 funded accounts per household, across all account types combined.

If you already hold 3 funded accounts of any type, you cannot add an INSTANT CORE account until one is closed. See Maximum Number of Accounts.

Copy Trading

Copy trading is permitted between INSTANT CORE accounts you personally own, up to your 3-account limit.

Hedging between accounts remains prohibited. See Prohibited: Hedging.

Resets

INSTANT CORE accounts cannot be reset. Resets are available on evaluation accounts only. A breached INSTANT CORE account is closed permanently; to trade again you purchase a new account.

Keeping Your Account Active

A minimum of one trade every 30 days is required. Accounts with no activity for 30 calendar days may be removed. See Inactivity Policy.
