Before you start
You'll need a registration link from the organization hosting your evaluation. It comes by email, text or QR code. There's no public sign-up page, so if you haven't received a link, contact your organization or event host.
Step 1: Choose your location
Open your registration link. You'll see the event details, including the title, description and facility logo. Under Select your training facility, choose where your evaluation will take place and click SELECT LOCATION.
Step 2: Enter your information
Your Stacks profile keeps all your MLBU BASE results in one place. The system automatically checks whether you already have one.
New players
Skip the Have a Stacks ID? section. It's for returning players.
Under Basic info, enter your first name, last name, date of birth and gender. This makes sure you're compared against the right age group (13 and under, or 14 and up). Click VALIDATE INFO.
A window will confirm this is a new account. Click CREATE MY ACCOUNT. We'll create your Stacks ID and email it to you.
Under Extra details, add the information we need to capture your data accurately:
Bio-data: sport, primary position, height, weight, competition level and bat length.
Group selection: under Select your time slot or team, pick your team if you're registering with one, or a time slot if you're registering on your own.
You control your data. Your organization's staff can view it to support your experience, and you decide who else gets access.
Under Primary contact details, enter the main contact, usually a parent or guardian. If you're 18 or older, enter your own details.
Returning players
Enter your Stacks ID with your name and date of birth to auto-fill your information. Your Stacks ID is at the top of your player profile in Stacks.
If we find a match, we'll send a verification code to the email on file.
Step 3: Review and sign the privacy waiver
The waiver explains how your data is used and protected. You'll sign two agreements, one time only. Your consent is saved to your profile, so you won't need to sign again for future registrations.
Step 4: Pay
Payment is processed through the secure registration portal.
Review pricing: the final page shows your total, including any event discounts.
Checkout: enter your card details to complete the payment.
Confirmation: you'll see a "payment successful" message when it's done.
If your team, school or a sponsor is covering the cost, your registration link will skip this step.
What happens next?
Confirmation email: you'll get one right away with a link to your receipt. The charge shows up on your statement as 1845 Solutions.
Stacks profile activation: your registration sends a request to join your organization in Stacks. Once an admin approves it, you can log in to Stacks to see your MLBU BASE results.
MLBU app: to see your results in the MLBU app and unlock features like Player Match, download the MLBU app and connect your Stacks account.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a link to register? Yes. Each event has its own registration link, shared by the hosting organization by email, text or QR code.
Is my personal data secure? Yes. Your information is used for your MLBU BASE evaluation and your Stacks profile, and all data use is covered by the privacy waiver you signed.
Do I have to sign the waiver every time? No. Once you sign, your consent is saved for future registrations.
Who can see my data? Your facility coaches can see your profile. College coaches and scouts can find you through Player Discovery and see basic profile info, but your results and contact info stay private until you accept their request. Learn more in the Stacks FAQ.
What if a sponsor or school is paying for my evaluation? If a third party, like a high school or foundation, is covering the cost, you'll get a registration link that skips payment.
