1. Account & Access
I'm a player. Where is my Stacks ID? Your Stacks ID is located at the top of your player profile. Use this ID to link your BASE data to the MLBU app for features like MLB Player Match that reveals which big leaguer your game most closely mirrors.
I'm a coach but can't see my teams. Roster access is managed by your facility admin. If your dashboard is empty, check that your admin has accepted your players' requests and assigned you to the correct groups or teams.
2. Interpreting the Metrics
Your profile is designed to show you both where you are today and how far you’ve come. Both sections live on your main profile page for easy access.
Best-of metrics: Your peak performances across all sessions, like your best Exit Velo, fastest 10-yard burst, or highest jump.
Session summary: Located directly below your best-Of metrics, this tracks your full assessment history chronologically. Use this to compare sessions over time and see proof of your progress.
Raw metrics vs. percentiles: Raw metrics are the objective numbers from your session. Percentiles show how that metric compares to every other athlete in your age group within the Stacks database.
What do the colors (green, yellow, red) mean? These are developmental indicators. Green means you’re hitting top-tier benchmarks for your age group. Yellow is mid-range. Red highlights a high-priority area for focused training.
How do the age "buckets" work? Your percentile ranking compares your raw scores to every other athlete in the Stacks database. Players are currently grouped into two categories based on age: 13 and Under (youth-sized fields) and 14 and Up (full-sized fields). This ensures you’re benchmarked against the right comparison group.
3. Sharing & Privacy
Can I share data with an outside coach or scout? Yes. Use the "share report" button on your profile to copy the link. This is the easiest way to share your metrics with coaches and scouts. See here for a step-by-step guide to sharing your report.
Who can see my data? By default, your data is private. Only you and the coaches assigned to your facility group can view your profile.
