This article explains how to create new Incidents within the 1Place App.

Updated over a week ago

Having robust Health & Safety practices is a must nowadays and as such, we have designed logging an Incident to be as easy to use as possible, taking you step-by-step along the way. It all starts at the Dashboard.

When you are on the Dashboard section of the app, click the pink “+” button at the bottom right of your screen.

Submitting a new Incident

Clicking the pink + button will open a pop up box with options of what 'New' addition you would like to make, which includes a new incident.

You can also do this once you have selected a specific Room, and the Incident will automatically be attached to that room.

To start, click the incident button. The next screen will show 'New Incident' at the top of the page. Choose which Room that the incident occurred in from the dropdown list. Click on 'CANCEL' to go back or 'CREATE INCIDENT' to proceed.

A new Incident will be raised for you to fill out. Fill in all of the details until you reach the bottom of the page.

There may be some mandatory fields which you will need to fill in to be able to proceed in submitting the Incident and these are in pink. If they are not filled in, then a pop up box will appear.

When you have filled in the details, click on the 'Submit' button on the top right of the page. A pop up box will appear advising that the incident is being submitted and the text within the pop up box will change to advise that the ticket has been submitted successfully. You can then click on the ‘Continue Editing’ button or “Go To Dashboard’ button.

Send Incident via email

When you click inside of this box, you are able to send or cc the incident to any person of your choosing to advise them about this incident by using the '+' (Add) button. The system will automatically add you to the cc line.

Viewing Incidents:

To view previously created Incidents, you can click the "Incident" button from the Dashboard of the App. This will bring you to a page where you can search for, and see all created incidents for your business, as well as view their current status in the workflow. Clicking on an Incident will show you its specific details, as well as allows you to edit them.
