Printing actions
Start
Available when the printer is idle, and the build tray is clear (if the feature is enabled)
Pause, Resume
Pause – It is not recommended to pause a print job unless necessary, as it may cause print defects.
After the job is paused, you can resume it.
Cancel
You can cancel the job and then be prompted to provide a reason for cancellation.
The Organizational admin can export the report for all the cancellation reasons.
Move/Copy
Move – carries the job over to another 3D Printer without duplicating it.
Copy—This creates a duplicate of the print job. If the billing logic is enabled, the new job owner is charged for it.
Restart
Available only for finished, canceled, or failed jobs.
You can select the printer to restart the print job.
Error
If your print job fails, you can stop it with the Error status. The job status will then be marked as Failed, ensuring accurate data in History and Statistics.
Industrial 3D Printer actions
Industrial 3D printers are not directly connected to the cloud, but you can use the cloud to manage them.
Industrial printers have the same features as directly driven 3D Printers and a few other things.
Finish
Use "Finish" to mark a job as completed in your statistics. The system will calculate the printing time as the difference between the start and finish times.
Download
You can download jobs from industrial printer queues to upload them manually.
Print job-related communications – Notes
When submitting a job, the user can write notes that are attached to it.
Other users with can_print permissions may review those notes on the Printers Page and leave their own.
If no notes were attached initially, you can add new ones from the three-dot menu.
And enter it in the Job Notes pop-up.
Feedback
The user may select Feedback in the dropdown selection. The Organization Admin can export it as a separate data point in the reports.
In some cases, notes are created automatically.
