This guide is applicable for both CarPlay and Android Auto and is based on an iPhone running iOS 18. For simplicity, the term "CarPlay" is used throughout the text, but the instructions apply to both systems. Please note that steps may slightly vary depending on your phone model or OS version.

Note: Some CPHM versions may not be compatible with Android Auto.

Tips and Troubleshooting

  • Keep your phone and vehicle infotainment system updated.

  • If you have a stereo with both systems (CarPlay and Android Auto), the TV Adapter may only work within CarPlay, even if you need to use Android Auto wirelessly. This is completely normal, and you don’t need to worry, as the TV Adapter defaults to connecting to CarPlay when it starts up.

This will not affect your ability to use wireless Android Auto, as you will still be connecting to the TV Adapter and not directly to your car. this is normal do not worry.

  • If issues occur:

    • Restart your phone and TV Adapter.

    • Remove the TV Adapter from your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pair it.

    • Reset the TV Adapter to factory settings if needed.

  • Contact customer support via chat or email if the problem persists.
