The AutoSky TV Adapter lets you enjoy wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as HDMI input to stream content from compatible devices—all from one simple interface. Here’s a quick guide to help you get started.

🔌 Step 1: Initial Connection

  1. Plug the TV Adapter into your car using the provided USB cable.

  2. If needed, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter.

  3. Once your car is on, you'll see the AutoSky start screen with two main buttons:

    • CP/AA (CarPlay / Android Auto)

    • HDMI

📱 Step 2: Connect to Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto

  1. Tap the CP/AA button.

  2. You’ll see the CarPlay logo and below it, the name of your adapter (e.g., AutoSky-1234).

  3. On your phone (iPhone or Android), go to Bluetooth settings, find the name on the screen, and connect.

  4. Accept the necessary permissions to enable CarPlay or Android Auto.

  5. In a few seconds, the interface will appear on your car’s screen.

⚠️ These steps work the same for Android. We use “CarPlay” here as an example only.

🏠 Step 3: Go Back to the Main Menu

  • To return to the main menu without disconnecting CarPlay/Android Auto, find the Home or Unconnect app icon on screen.

  • This takes you to the main screen, but your connection stays active.

  • To return to CarPlay/Android Auto, just tap CP/AA again.

📺 Step 4: Use the HDMI Function

The adapter also supports HDMI input, so you can plug in devices like TV sticks, consoles, or smartphones.
Here’s how:

🔌 Connect a TV Stick (Example)

  1. Plug the stick into the HDMI port of the AutoSky adapter.

  2. Power the stick via USB—either from your car’s port or a USB charger in the cigarette lighter.

  3. Tap the HDMI button on screen.

  4. You should now see your device’s interface.

Important: the AutoSky WiFi does not provide internet.
To get online, enable your phone’s hotspot and connect your device to it through its WiFi settings.

📲 Connect a Smartphone via HDMI

You can also connect your phone using a USB-C or Lightning to HDMI adapter. In this case:

  • No WiFi connection is needed.

  • No external power is required.

  • Just make sure your HDMI adapter is HDCP-compliant. Without HDCP support, it won’t work.

⚙️ HDMI Screen Controls

  • Top left corner: arrow icon to return to the main menu.

  • Top right corner: fullscreen icon.

Note: this does not change resolution—screen size depends on your car, not the adapter.
