Release Notes | Week of July 28 | Apricot 8.36.0

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

This release includes two enhancements to Advanced Access and the Attendance Tracker, as well as five high-priority defects regarding Calculation Fields, Registration Grid, Dynamic Dropdowns, and Intake forms.

Enhancements

Imports | Improved Security for Advanced Access

Standard Users with Advanced Access to Imports can see every import by default, even those they didn't create. In some cases, this may allow users to view data outside their permissions.

We've added a setting called "Imports Advanced Access - limit visibility to Import Owner" on the Apricot Settings page that lets you control this. When enabled, Standard Users will only see their own Imports, helping keep data secure.

This setting is off by default and applies to all Standard Users with Advanced Access. It can't be changed on a user-by-user basis.

Attendance Tracker | Participant Document Folder View

You can now see Attendance Tracker details for the current and prior year directly in the participant's Document Folder. On the Attendance tab, you'll find Classes and Terms plus Present/Absent status all in one place for faster review.

Fixes

Calculation Fields | Performance Optimization

We improved how Apricot processes Calculation Fields for faster form loading.

Calculation Fields | Date Calculation

Date Calculation fields now perform calculations as expected.

Registration Grid | Record Save

We fixed an issue that prevented Registration Grid data from saving after clicking "Save Record."

Dynamic Dropdowns | Record Save

Dynamic Dropdowns now save values without errors after clicking "Save Record."

Intake | Timeout

Intake forms now recognize typing and mouse activity, reducing unwanted timeouts on large Intake forms.
