How do I track my portfolio performance?

This article explains how you can view and track the performance of your portfolio in the CUSP app.

Updated over 2 months ago

We understand that keeping track of your investments is important for your peace of mind. With CUSP, you don’t need spreadsheets or guesswork — your Portfolio Dashboard gives you everything in one clear view.

Here’s how you can track your performance:

Step 1: Open your Portfolio Dashboard.

  1. Log in to the CUSP app.

  2. From the main menu, select Portfolio.

Step 2: View your overall performance.

At the top of your dashboard, you’ll see:

  • Total portfolio value.

  • Profit & loss (daily, monthly, or all-time).

  • Unrealised gains (investments you still hold).

  • Realised gains (profits from assets you’ve sold)

  • Dividends and interest earned

Step 3: Check time-based returns.

Use the performance chart to switch between:

  • 1D, 1W, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, or All-time views.

  • Compare your portfolio against benchmarks like the S&P 500.

Step 4: Analyze your portfolio breakdown.

See where your money is invested with clear breakdowns by:

  • Asset type (stocks, ETFs, options, cash).

  • Sector (technology, healthcare, energy, etc.).

  • Risk profile (Conservative, Moderate, Aggressive, or Shariah-compliant).

Step 5: Track dividends and cash interest.

  • See upcoming dividend payments from your stocks.

  • Track interest earned on idle cash (up to 2.75% APR, optional).

  • Choose to disable interest if you want your account to be fully Shariah-compliant.
