Apple and Google Pay allows clients to make purchases and subscriptions using any credit or debit card saved to their Apple or Google Account.
Clients don't need to manually enter debit / credit card information, or their billing information, making the checkout process easier and more convenient.
How do I add Apple & Google Pay?
These payment options will automatically display on your program's checkout page.
You must be using FITR's Stripe integration. Click here to connect Stripe to your account. Doing this has a number of benefits:

What happens if my client has used another payment method before?
Clients can choose whether to use a saved payment method they've used before, or select Apple / Google Pay.
All program types at checkout will display the option to purchase / subscribe using Apple & Google Pay.
Client's must choose one payment method when subscribing to programs. If a new payment method is chosen, this payment method will be the default for all active subscriptions.
Previously used payment methods aren't removed.
Why is Apple & Google Pay not showing for my clients?
Apple & Google Pay is supported for certain browsers, operating systems and currencies. Please check Apple / Google for the latest information for this.
E.g. Apple Pay is supported on Safari, but not Chrome.
Make sure you have added a payment method to your Google or Apple account.
If you've blocked new subscriptions or downloads, within your programs settings, then Apple & Google pay options will not appear at checkout.
Does it cost more to use Apple & Google Pay?
No.
The feature is supported on FITR's Starter, Pro and Unlimited plans and incurs the usual platform transaction fees.
