If you offer different levels of clean and would like to only display those services on the form at a time, the below set up walks you through adding in your pricing with service categories.

Step 1: Create your Service Categories- Settings > Services > Service Categories
These are a way for you to "file" services from view, so once a customer selects a category, only those services will show on the page at one time

Example #1 : Regular Clean, Deep Clean, Move in/Move out Clean

Example #2: Residential Clean, Commercial Clean

Don't worry about assigning any services to your categories yet

Here is more info for your reference on Service Categories
https://intercom.help/Launch27/en/articles/4256861-service-categories

After creating your categories, make sure you unhide the section within the Premium booking form designer.

Click into the 3 different fields in this section and unhide them so that they will show on your form.

Step 2: Create your Services- Settings > Services > Services click Add new on the top right of your screen

Depending on your categories, you will need to create individual services for each category. DO NOT ASSIGN ONE SERVICE TO MULTIPLE CATEGORIES.

Pricing cannot be assigned to service categories which is why you need to create sets of services for each type of service you offer

Example #1: You will need to have 15 services total( 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms , 4 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms) for each level of clean:

  • Bedrooms 1-5 Regular Clean price

  • Bedrooms 1-5 Deep clean Price

  • Bedrooms 1-5 Move in/Out price

Example #2: You will need to have sets of bedrooms services ( 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms , 4 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms) for your residential cleans and commercial services created for your commercial cleans

  • Bedrooms 1-5 Residential Services

  • Commercial Clean Service

Pricing for the service should be the base price of the service itself for each category before any additional pricing factors like bathrooms square feet or discounts are applied.

Each service should have its own price, its own duration, and make sure you assign it to the category it needs to show with

Step 3: Settings > Services > Pricing Parameters > click Add new

Use pricing parameters to get additional customization of price per service selected.

If the bathroom price changes based on the type of service, then you can create 3 Pricing Parameters for bathrooms and then only assign the parameter to the set of services it needs to show for.

Example #1: Regular clean- each bathroom is $20 and 20 minute duration per bathroom Create the parameter and link it only to the 5 regular clean services

Example #2: Sq. foot-Set a flat rate price per sq. foot and create the parameter and link it only to the commercial service.

Click here to check out our doc that breaks down the most common pricing parameters that are linked to services and how to create them.

Step 4: Create Extras (optional add ons) the customer can select on their booking

Settings > Services > Extras > Add New

Extras only display based on the service they are linked with.

If pricing for an Extra changes based on the service selected, then you can create multiple Extras for the same thing, add in the different pricing and duration, then link it only to the services it needs to show for.

Example:

Inside the fridge-$25- 10 minute duration link to all regular clean services

Inside the Fridge-$40- 20 minute duration-link to all deep clean services

NOTE: Durations assigned to pricing parameters and Extras will not increase price, they will only be added to the service duration so that the system is able to give an estimated duration for the booking based on the service, parameter and any extra selected.

If you would rather not show the duration to the customer on the form, you can hide that field in the premium form designer, just click into it.

Unless you have the duration liquid tag included in your customer email templates, customers cannot see booking duration from inside their customer portal
